G3 Bible Summary for First Semester

 Jesus:

1. Trinity is the unity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as three persons in one Godhead.

2. Our God, He is omnipresent, omnipotent, and omniscient.

3. Jesus, the Son of God is eternal, became flesh, and a savior.

4. Jesus was sent to redeem those who were under the law.

5. Jesus is the only way that we can go to Heaven.

6. Gabriel told Mary that she would have God's Son and she was to name Him Jesus.

7. Shepherds visited Jesus after an angel told them to find baby Jesus.

8. Wise man came to gave Jesus gifts after seeing His star in the sky.


Disciples:

9. When Peter preached to the crowd, God added about 3000 believers.

10. Go healed a lame man after Peter spoke in the name of Jesus.

11. John was sent to the island of Patmos because he preached the Gospel.

12. Gospel is the good news about Jesus.

13. The names of 12 disciple of Jesus according to Mark:

 - Peter

 - James

 - John

 - Andrew

 - Philip

 - Bartholomew

 - Matthew

 - Thomas

 - Thadeus

 - Simon

 - Judas


14. The Lord is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayer of the righteous. Proverbs 15:29.

15. The Lord's Prayer (Matthew 6:9-13):

- Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,  your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

- Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

- And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. Amen.

16. . Jesus heals 10 men Story Luke 17:11-19:

 - A priest decided if a person had leprosy.

 - The men asked Jesus to have pity on them.

 - As the man went to see the priests, they were cleansed.

 - After Jesus healed the man, one came back to give glory and praise to God and to thank Jesus,

 - Jesus commented about the Samaritan's faith.

 - Why all the man should have been thankful? Because Jesus already healed them.


17. Do not withhold your mercy from me, Lord; may your love and faithfulness always protect me. Psalm 40:11.

18. Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;

you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20


19. Why is  it important to sow God's Word? Because it might grow life, and it might help others to accepting the Gospel.

Torah "Five Books of Moses": Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy

History books  –  Book of Joshua, Book of Judges, Books of Samuel, & Books of Kings.

The books of the various prophets – Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Jonah, Daniel, Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, Malachi.
