Results or outcomes of an action or decision are consequences in relation to sin. According to the Bible, the nature of people basically sinful. A characteristic of God's judgment is always righteous.

When King David sinned, it led to a series of events. This sequence of events caused a great deal of turmoil and suffering, not only for David and his family but also for the kingdom of Israel. King David’s sin led to another sin.

Peter feels guilty after committing a sin. After Jesus forgave and restored Peter for denying Him.

In the New Testament, Jesus is the Person of the Trinity is referred to as the Word. The name of "Jesus" mean God is salvation. By paying the penalty for their sins, Jesus provide freedom from sin for all people who believe in Him. Jesus never give up to Satan’s temptations and sin.

The name "Immanuel" mean God with us. Omnipotent God is the title "Mighty God". The term God Incarnate term refers to God in the flesh.

Faith in Jesus Christ is the only way to receive forgiveness for the penalty of sin. Something costly offered as a gift is a sacrifice in the context of the Bible. Jesus Christ spoke about He is "the way, the truth, and the life"

During the Passover, the Hebrews have to choose a lamb or goat without fault or defect for the ritual.

The Passover is the event associated with the use of the lamb’s blood on the door-frame. The Hebrews put the lamb’s blood during the Passover on their door-frame. They put the lamb’s blood on their door-frame so, death would pass over their house.

Isaiah known as the Messianic Prophet because he prophesied over 25 prophecies about the life of the Messiah. Isaiah primarily a prophet in Judah.

Gems, Metals, Coal, Fossil Fuels, and Caves

What are gems?

Gems are rare and beautiful minerals that are cut and polished for use in jewelry and decoration.

How are they different from regular minerals?

Gems are usually harder, clearer, and more colorful than ordinary minerals. They are valued for their beauty, rarity, and durability.

Give examples: diamond, ruby, sapphire, etc.

Examples of gems include:

How are gems used?

What makes a metal a mineral?

A metal is a mineral if it is a natural substance found in the earth and has a crystalline structure. Metals are often shiny, malleable (can be shaped), and good conductors of heat and electricity.

• Gold – valuable, used in jewelry and electronics

• Silver – used in jewelry, electronics, and coins

• Copper – used in wiring and plumbing

• Iron – used to make steel for construction and tools

What is smelting?

Smelting is the process of heating ores to extract the metal from them. It separates the pure metal from the other materials in the ore.

What is coal and how is it formed?

Coal is a black or dark brown rock made from the remains of ancient plants. It forms over millions of years when plant material is buried under layers of earth and compressed by heat and pressure.

What are fossil fuels?

Fossil fuels are energy sources made from the remains of plants and animals that lived long ago. They include coal, oil, and natural gas.

Types: coal, oil, natural gas

• Coal – solid, used for electricity and heating

• Oil (petroleum) – liquid, refined into gasoline and other fuels

• Natural gas – gas form, used for cooking and heating

How do we use them in everyday life?

Fossil fuels are used to:

Why are they called "nonrenewable"?

Fossil fuels are called nonrenewable because they take millions of years to form, and once they are used up, they cannot be quickly replaced.

How do caves form?

Caves form when rainwater, mixed with carbon dioxide, becomes a weak acid and slowly dissolves limestone underground, creating hollow spaces over time.

What are stalactites and stalagmites?

• Stalactites hang from the ceiling of a cave.

• Stalagmites grow upward from the floor.
  They form from dripping mineral-rich water that leaves behind deposits of calcite.

What is limestone’s role in cave formation?

Limestone is a soft, easily dissolved rock. It is the primary type of rock in which most solution caves form because acidic water can easily wear it away.

How do caves remind us of God’s design in nature?

Caves show God's design by their beauty, complexity, and order. The slow and precise formation of cave structures like stalactites and stalagmites reveals God’s creativity and the power of natural processes He designed.

Crescent is the first moon phase after a new moon. Mercury is the planet closest to the sun. Venus is known as Earth’s bright twin but is inhospitable. A scientist is like a detective, searching for law and order as he or she investigates the creation of God. Senses, intelligence, books, and equipment are four basic tools you have to investigate nature. Tongue is the one sense you should not use.

Queen bee is a female bee that mates and lays eggs. Drone-a male bee; has no stinger and does no work. Only female bees can sting! A bee's stinger is a modified egg-laying structure, or ovipositor Pollen is the yellow "dust" that flowers use in producing seeds. Worker-a female bee that does not mate and lay eggs. Nectar is a sweet liquid made by flowers in order to attract insects. Pollination is the transfer of pollen from male to female plant parts. Honeybees survive in the winter by stay close together in their hive and move their wings to stay warm. Hibernate means to sleep through the winter. The ways you can prevent bee stings are: Stay away from insect nests; do not try to shoo insects away; be careful while you are mowing the lawn, pulling weeds, or cutting vines; do not go barefoot. Beetles is the insect order that is identified by a straight line down its abdomen. True bugs is the insect order identified by a V or X on its abdomen.

Spring tide-a tide which is higher or lower than normal tides. The three intertidal zones are: high-barnacles, middle-seaweed, mussels, whelk. low-kelp, sea urchins, sea anemones. God’s Word is real and factual. The Bible sets the standard for a Christian’s faith and behaviour. God’s Word equips Christians to know who God is, what He is like, and how to do His will. The Bible reveals God’s truth. It provides guidance and direction for Christians. The fact that the Bible is God’s Word is proven by the fulfillment of prophecy, because people cannot accurately predict the future.

People who place their trust in God and believe His Word show that they have faith in the Lord. Knowing and trusting the truth of God’s Word helps Christians take action that affects their life and the lives of those around them. Inspired by God means to be influenced or guided by God. God’s omnipresence is always present, God’s ability to be everywhere at the same time. The eternal nature of God is that He has always been and always will be. God is not only everywhere at once, but He is also actively involved in the lives of His people. God’s presence offers comfort during lonely times.

Those who accept Jesus as their Savior never need to worry about being alone. God is always with them and will never leave them. Because God is omnipresent, it is impossible to hide from Him or to be truly alone. Omnipresent means always present everywhere. Omniscient means all-knowing. Omnipotent means all-power. Trinity mean three in one: one God who exists in three Persons. The word triune mean three in one. Sin has consequences. Consequences means the results of an action or a decision.

In the Bible, a sacrifice is something costly that is offered as a gift. During the Passover, the Hebrews had to choose a lamb or goat that was without fault or defect. Hell is a place of everlasting punishment. When they are still living a person must accept Jesus. There is no need for a sun in heaven because God’s glory shines brighter. The Heaven is the dwelling place of God.

When God wants them to appear, angels appear to people. Carrying messages and guarding people is the tasks do angels perform. Angels who follow Satan and rebelled against God are considered fallen angels, or demons, according to the Bible. Daniel received a message about the future from a Gabriel, the messenger. Pride was Satan’s sin that led to rebellion against God according to the Bible. In Isaiah 14:12-15, the king of Babylon is interpreted metaphorically to refer to the pride and rebellion of Satan. The Satan originally a high-ranking angel, desired to exalt himself to a position higher than God and, as a result, was cast out of heaven.

Judas Iscariot (disciple from Kerioth) betrayed Jesus to the religious officials. Mary Magdalene was the first to find Jesus' tomb empty according to the Gospel. Peter was forgiven by Jesus and instructed to feed His sheep. After Jesus' resurrection when He breathed on them, the disciples given the Holy Spirit according to the New Testament.

The definition of salvation is the act of being saved or rescued from the consequences of sin. To gain salvation, one must have faith in Jesus. Spiritual growth results in becoming more like Jesus. God is omnipotent. Omnipotent means all-powerful. God is triune. This word means that God is three in one. The Person of the Trinity who indwells, enlightens, and empowers believers is God the Holy Spirit.

People have a sin nature. This means that people are born sinful. Sin is disobeying God. The result of sin is separation from God. The Old Testament records that God established Israel as the nation that would produce His Son. Jesus is the central theme for the whole Bible and for all time.

Believers will be judged at the judgment seat of Christ and then rewarded. Followers of Christ will receive crowns for good works. Unbelievers will also be thrown in the lake of fire.

How will the second coming of Jesus be different from His first coming? He will return in the clouds. A trumpet will sound. Every eye will see Him. How should believers prepare for Christ’s return? by doing the Lord’s will. What warnings did Jesus give about false teachers? Some will say they are Christ. Heaven has been prepared for those who believe in Jesus Christ. The only two possible destinations after death are hell or heaven. A person must accept Jesus while he or she is still living. Mary Magdalene was the first to find that Jesus’ tomb was empty. Judas Iscariot betrayed Jesus to the chief priests and other religious officials. Peter was forgiven by Jesus and told to feed His sheep. The Holy Spirit was given to the disciples after Jesus’ resurrection when Jesus breathed on them. God had a plan for the world’s salvation through Christ’s life, death, and resurrection. 

Spiritual warfare is an opportunity for believers to fight against evil with weapons that Jesus has provided. To counterfeit is to make a copy that looks real in order to trick people. False teacher counterfeit teaching about God by saying things about Him that are not true. Christians can identify a false teaching by comparing it to the Bible. Christians should always pray in faith. The word hallowed means holy.

Jesus’ model prayer is frequently called the Lord’s Prayer. Five pray list with fingers that the Bible encourages believers to include when they pray are: praise (thumb), confession and repentance (pointer), thanksgiving (middle finger), other’s need (ring finger), personal needs (pinkie).

2 Thessalonians 3:3 “But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.” 

1 John 4:4 “You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.”

To follow Jesus means to live like God wants you to.

When you take up your cross, you put God’s will first.

Jewish people go to Jerusalem to celebrate Pentecost.

God promised the Holy Spirit to believers.

On Pentecost day, people hear the sound of thunder.

The believer sees something like flames above their heads.

The Jewish visitor to the city hears their own language when the believer praise God.

At the Transfiguration, Moses represented the law and Elijah represented to the work and words of the Old Testament prophets. Jesus fulfilled the Law and the prophecies; He is the Savior. 

Transfiguration means a significant change.

Three thousand people came to faith in Jesus as Savior and were baptized on the day that Peter’s sermon.

What did Peter do when he realized he had denied Jesus? He wept.

What ministry did Jesus give to Peter? To feed His lambs, to take care of His sheep, to be like a shepherd.

Believer in Christ are Jesus’ lambs and sheep.

Peter’s life changed after the Holy Spirit came to him.

Repentance is the first step to take to be restored to God. Four steps on Peter’s restoration: repentance, getting faith in focus, following Jesus, serving boldly. 

When Stephen saw toward heaven, he saw the glogy of God and Jesus standing at the right hand of God.

How did Stephen respond to the persecution? He called God and forgave the men who were killing him.

Jesus gave His followers in Acts !:8 to take the Gospel message to all parts of the earth.

When Saul on the road to Damascus to find believers, a dazzling light surrounded him, and Jesus began to speak to him. Saul life was changed that day.

From Psalm 34:13-14 we learn how to serve God:

Keep your tongue from evil, keep your lips form peaking lies. Depart from evil and do good. Seek peace and pursue it.

When Paul traveled, he encouraged others. When Paul was tired, he persevered. When Paul heard bad news, he comforted others. When Paul’s friends asked him not to go to Jerusalem, he obeyed God.

How many times did Apostle Paul do ministry? Four times.

Bible G5 - Second Semester Summary (Updated 2025)

Sin has consequences. Consequences are the results of an action or a decision. People are basically sinful. God’s judgment is always righteous. King David’s sin led to another sin. Peter’s sin caused him to feel guilty. After Jesus forgave Peter for denying Him, Jesus restored Peter. Christians should practice prayer and thanksgiving to develop a godly habit.

The Person of the Trinity is called the Word in the New Testament is Jesus. The name Jesus means God is salvation. The name Immanuel means God with us. The title Mighty God means Omnipotent God. Jesus never gave in to Satan’s temptations and never sinned. So His death on the cross provided salvation for people. The term that means God in the flesh is God Incarnate. The one and only way to receive forgiveness for the penalty of sin is through faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus provided freedom from sin for all people when He paid the penalty for their sins.

In the Bible, a sacrifice is something costly that is offered as a gift. During the Passover, the Hebrews had to choose a lamb or goat that was without fault or defect. The Hebrews put the lamb’s blood on their door-frame so death would pass over their house.

Isaiah is best known as the Messianic Prophet because he prophesied over 25 prophecies dealing with the life of the Messiah. Isaiah was primarily a prophet in Judah.

Rehoboam tore the kingdom apart by his poor leadership. Absalom attempted to take over the throne by fighting a battle against his father, King David. Absalom stealing Israel’s devotion to King David and ultimately their devotion to God.

Ahab and Jezebel worship Baal. Because of his sins, Elijah tell Ahab: There would be no rain.  During the time of King Ahab, people who refused to worship Baal were persecuted or driven out of the country. The prophet Elijah warned the people there would be no rain. God gave Elijah food and rest before he gently restored him. When the brook dried up, Elijah went to widow’s home.

False religions teach that salvation comes through good works, good people, other gods, or a set of standards.

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6

Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved Act 4:12.

The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;   my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge,  my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. Psalm 18:2.

Bible Summary for G5 Semester 1

The Trinity means one God in three Person, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. God knows everything you think and do. He is omniscient, meaning He  is all-knowing (omniscience). God is eternal. He existed even before the world was created. He has always been and always will be. God is all-powerful. That means He is omnipotent. God is omnipresent. This means He is always present, always present, being everywhere at the same time. Something believers should do as a result of the life they have in Jesus are grow in faith. Share God’s plan to redeem people. And spend time reading God’s Word and praying.

There are 66 books in the Bible. The Old Testament contains 39 books. The New Testament is made up of 27 books. An angel appeared to shepherds in the fields and told them that the Savior was born in Bethlehem. The books of the Bible: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John we called it The Gospels. Wise men from the east saw David’s star in the sky. Herod was jealous and ordered all the baby boys to be killed. Joseph was warned in a dream, so he took Mary and the baby to Egypt.

What type of work did Cain do? Cain was a farmer. How were Cain and Abel alike? They both had the same parents, they both brought sacrifices to God, they knew sin was an offense to God, and they both knew the story of their parents’ sin in the Garden of Eden. Abel brought the offering acceptable to God. What kind of a sacrifice did Abel give? He offered an animal. And what manner did Abel offer his sacrifice? Abel gave his offering in faith (Hebrews 11:4). God urged Cain to repent of his anger and do well. God wanted Cain to agree to do what was right. Cain refused. Why do you think he chose to rebel? Cain wanted to live life his way and not God’s.

God choose to communicate with people, He has great love for people. The purposes for the Old Testament are: It tells of the coming of the Messiah, it presents God’s plan of salvation, it gives people principles to live by. The reason to study God’s Word are: It trains people in righteousness. and shows them how to do the right things, teaches people how to live the right way, and rebukes or stops people from doing wrong.

Abraham’s name mean father of a multitude, or many nations. Abraham was originally from city of Ur. Next, He live in Haran. Abraham left without knowing where he was going, he practice trust and faith when he left his city. Abraham was 75 years old when he left to go a new land. Abraham’s wife, nephew, and some other people take with him on his journey.

Jacob left his home because he was threatened by his brother, Esau.  One night, Jacob had a special dream, Jacob saw a ladder, or staircase, leading to heaven. God promised Jacob a land and many descendants, Jacob had conditions, but agreed to God’s covenant. God provided for Jacob and changed his name on the night that  Jacob wrestled with a Man.

The sons of Jacob have important role in history, they fathered the 12 tribes of Israel. How did Joseph’s brothers mistreat him? They talked about murdering him, threw him into a pit and sold him into slavery. Where did Joseph end up when he first entered Egypt, and what false accusation was Joseph charged with? He ended up in Potiphar’s house, and He was charged with attacking Potiphar’s wife.

Why is it important to listen to God? To grow in your faith and relationship to God and to understand how to use spiritual gifts.  God want you to do with your spiritual gifts to serve Him and others in love. God want you to do with your spiritual gifts to serve Him and others in love. Moses was able to speak with God so openly because of his close relationship with God. Moses asked God to save Israel because Moses wanted God’s reputation to remain strong. Moses demonstrated a bold belief in God’s deliverance by leading the people of God through the Red Sea. Moses sent 12 spies into Canaan to secretly explore the land and cities.

Achan stole some of the forbidden things from Jericho, thats is evidence proved he rebelled against God. God is omniscient. He knew, Achan stole some of the forbidden things from Jericho. Omniscient means that He is all-knowing.

Deborah was the only female prophetess mentioned in the book of Judges. Rebellion, bondage, repentance, rescue,  and rest is the correct order for the cycle of sin in the book of Judges. When Israel repented of their sins and cried out to God, He delivered them from their enemies. God appeared to Gideon, who was afraid, in a winepress and threshing wheat, to say Gideon was a mighty warrior. Gideon obeyed God by destroying his father’s altar to Baal,  but because  he was afraid he did it  at night rather than during the daytime.

God’s chosen people in the Old Testament gave Him thank offerings to voluntarily show their gratitude for His person, power, and provision. Giving a thank offering was a way to express thanks to God, and a time to celebrate with family and friends what God had done.

In the Gospel of Luke (Luke 4:16-21), Jesus went to the synagogue in Nazareth and was handed the scroll of the prophet Isaiah. He found the passage from Isaiah 61:1-2 and read it aloud: "The Spirit of the Lord is on me because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor."

After reading this, Jesus rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant, and sat down. All eyes in the synagogue were on him. Then he declared, "Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing." By stating that the passage from Isaiah was fulfilled in their hearing, Jesus was proclaiming that he was the fulfillment of the promised Messiah who would bring freedom, healing, and salvation to humanity.

Science G4 Semester 1 – V2.0 Summary

Chapter 1 - Science

Science is the study of the wonders of the universe. Scientist is a person who spends time trying to learn about things God has made. Observation is looking carefully at something. Scientist who studies insects and similar creatures called entomologists.
Four ways how scientists learn.

1. They look carefully. They observe.
2. They gather information and try to think clearly.
3. They try to make sensible guesses, or hypotheses
4. They test their hypotheses with experiments to see whether they are correct

Chapter 2 - Insects
For an insect, it must have three special characteristics: Three body parts, exoskeleton, and six legs. The hard coat of armor that protects the tiny body parts of insects is called an exoskeleton. All insects do not have lungs, they breathe with breathing tubes. The oxygen enters the tubes through tiny holes called spiracles.

Every insect have three main body parts. Caterpillar does not have it; we called it insect because caterpillar is a baby insect. Scientists call a caterpillar as larva. Most insects have a pair of compound eyes, large eyes which are made up of many small eyes. Crickets are most active after dark; that is, they are nocturnal. Crickets, like all other insects, are coldblooded.

A predator is an animal that captures and feeds upon other animals.A disguise that causes people or animals to blend in with their surrounding is called camouflage. All insects have ways of communicating with other insects. They communicate with sight, smell, touch, dancing, and sound.,An insect’s exoskeleton is lighter and stronger than bone.

When an insect outgrows its exoskeleton, it grows a new exoskeleton under the old one and the crawls out of the old skeleton. This process is called molting. Coldblooded means that an insect’s body temperature changes as the outside temperature changes.

Chapter 3 - Plants

Parasite is an animal or plant that attaches itself to another animal or plants and feeds on it. When a green plant makes its food by photosynthesis, it takes carbon dioxide from the air and puts oxygen back in to the air. Many trees grow a new layer of wood each year. Those layers are called annual ring.

Most needle-leaf trees that live in regions that have changing season are evergreen. Every seed contains a new, living plant. As the insect travels from flower to flower, it moves pollen from the stamens to the pistils. Scientist calls this process pollination.

The stem of the tree is its tree trunk. Every seeds has three main parts the embryo, the stored food, and seed coat. The insects travel from flower to flower. Scientist call this insects that help flower is pollinator.


Chapter 4 - Birds
Blue jay probably the most intelligent of the birds. Swimming birds, such as ducks and geese, always have their paddles called webbed feet.

Habitat is a type of area where an animal lives (forest, river, desert). Birds also do the regular seasonal movement, they are migration. Migrate mean to move from one place to another with the change of seasons

Chapter 5 - Matter
Three fourths of the earth’s surface is covered with water. Clouds made of water and air. Potential energy is stored energy. Matter is anything that takes up space and has weight. The particles which make up molecules are called atoms. When two of hydrogen molecule and one of oxygen molecule join together; they make a water molecule. Matter can exist in three states or forms.
An example for every form:

• Solid (ice, rock, table, chair, ball)
• Liquid (water, oil, sea)
• Gas (water vapor, CO2, O2, Nitrogen)

The visible blanket of air which completely surrounds us called atmosphere. Air is mixture of colorless, odorless, tasteless gases. We cannot see, smell, or pick up a piece of air; but air is there. We can feel when it moves, and we can hear some of the effects of moving air.

Chapter 1 – Wonderfully Made
People are the most special part of God's creation. God give you your nervous system to help you enjoy His world. We have three main parts of the nervous system:  the brain, the nerves, the spinal cord. Your brain controls your whole body. Nerves will carry message to and from the brain. The spinal cord is a bundle of millions of nerve cells. The left side of the brain controls the right side of your body.  Our sense organ is the parts of your body are designed especially to help us to react the things around us.

The forehead and cheekbones protect our eyes. Tears help our eyes. They keep the eyes moist and wash dirt and dust for them. Vitamin A is good for your eyes. Though air, water and solid sound can travel. To move rapidly back and forth called vibrate. The eardrum is the thin skin that separates the outer ear from the middle ear. The auditory nerve carries the sound message to the brain. Cochlea is the part in the ear, filled with a liquid. Taste and smell are two senses work closely together. Tiny particles of a substance we call it molecules. Pain warns us of the dangers to the body, that is why it is important that we feel pain.

Chapter 2 – Exploring the Plant World

Upon plants do all living things depend. The seed coat is the hard outer covering of a seed. Pollen is the name of the yellow powder formed in flowers. Pollination is the process moves pollen from flower to flower. Glucose is the simple sugar is made in the process of photosynthesis. Chlorophyll, sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide. Plants need chlorophyll, sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide to complete the process of photosynthesis. Chlorophyll is the e green material in plants. Leaves give off water and oxygen. A single cell produced in some plants instead of flowers and seeds called spore. Spores can be found in spore cases. Moss is made of many tiny plants.

Chapter 3 – Exploring the World of Vertebrate

Vertebrates and invertebrates are the two groups are animals classified.  Amphibian mean: living a double life. Animal without backbone called invertebrates. 

Chapter 4 – Exploring the World of invertebrate
An earthworm has special projections which help protect it from hungry birds. The projection called setae. The arms of an octopus called tentacles. Starfish walk on their special feet called tube feet. The biggest group of invertebrates called insects. A baby spider called spiderling. Camouflage is to cause to look like the surroundings for protection.

Chapter 5 – Exploring the Desert

Once or twice a year it usually rain in the desert.
